The work
The huntian — the armillary sphere — is the Chinese model of a heaven that wraps the earth like a shell around a yolk. This object rebuilds it around the Five Treasuries of Mountains: the rings carry the Classic's mountain ranges in bronze-script, and the sphere turns.
It is shown here as a rendering. The atelier is developing the first cast; photographs of the prototype will replace this image.

Cultural source
Han-dynasty armillary instruments; the Five Treasuries of Mountains (Wuzang Shanjing).
The artist's transformation
An instrument of measurement becomes an instrument of meaning: the owner's own geography, dates or names can be cast into the rings.
Making
Digital model → wax → ceramic shell → bronze pour → chasing → patina → mechanical assembly → stone base.
Scale & variation
Desk object, plinth piece, or a 2–4 m atrium centrepiece that rotates.
Placement
Libraries, boardrooms, hotel atria, observatories and cultural destinations.
Certificate & provenance
Every completed commission is delivered with a certificate of authenticity, a unique work ID, a cultural source note and a making record, and is entered into the atelier's private provenance archive.
