Brief
At the artist’s base, sculptural forms become places to gather, display works and sit. These are studio applications, presented as references for spatial commissions.
Cultural / personal source
Baize and Chenghuang, reinterpreted through Lu Renjie’s sculptural language.
Creative direction
Baize occupies the third-floor interior: a wing becomes the central tea table, while the tail extends towards the lift and becomes a display cabinet.

Baize: tea table, display cabinet and spatial installation. Chenghuang: a ten-seat sculptural bench.
Result
The photographs show two ways to bring sculpture into use: an environment that shapes circulation and display, and a freestanding piece of seating. For a new site, dimensions, materials and installation would be reviewed with its design team.
